What is RO?
Reverse osmosis is a kind of reverse migration movement of osmosis. It is a separation method that separates the solute and the solvent in the solution by means of the selective retention effect of a semi-permeable membrane under pressure driving. It has been widely used in the purification and concentration of various liquids
A common use case is to use the anti-soaking technique to remove impurities such as inorganic ions, bacteria, viruses, organics, and colloids in raw water to obtain high-quality purified water. Widely used now is roll-type polyamide compound
For composite membrane, its water flux and removal rate will be affected by pressure, temperature, recovery rate, salt content of incoming water and pH value. Second, the principle and characteristics of RO have such a phenomenon, when the same volume of dilute solution (such as fresh water) and concentrated solution (such as saline) are placed separately
When both sides of the semi-permeable membrane, the solvent in the dilute solution will naturally pass through the semi-permeable membrane and flow to the concentrated solution side spontaneously. This phenomenon is called permeation. When the infiltration reaches equilibrium, the liquid level on the side of the concentrated solution will be higher than the liquid level of the dilute solution, that is, a pressure difference will form.
This pressure difference is the infiltration pressure. The size of the osmotic pressure depends on the inherent properties of the solution, that is, it is related to the type, concentration, and temperature of the concentrated solution and has nothing to do with the properties of the semipermeable membrane. If a pressure greater than the osmotic pressure is applied to the concentrated solution side, the direction of solvent flow will be
Contrary to the original impregnation direction, the flow from the concentrated solution to the dilute solution side begins. This process is called reverse impregnation. This skill is now recognized internationally as a high-tech skill. By utilizing the effect of applied pressure, the solvent in the solution passes through the semi-permeable membrane to retain some solutes.
Third, skills clarification
Anti-impregnation skills are one of today's advanced and energy-efficient useful separation skills. Utilizing the separation characteristics of reverse osmosis can effectively remove dissolved salts, colloids, organic matter, bacteria and other impurities in water, with low energy consumption, no pollution, advanced technology, simple operation
Anti-soaking equipment has the following characteristics:
All parts are imported products with advanced skills
Reliable quality, high level of integration, easy to expand
High degree of initiative, immediately stop in case of problems, with active maintenance function
High desalination rate, up to 98%
Low energy consumption and low operating costs
High water utilization
Reasonable structure, less floor space, saving more than 30% space than conventional methods
Advanced membrane maintenance system. When the equipment is shut down, the desalinated water can actively flush the membrane's external pollutants and prolong the membrane life. The system has no vulnerable parts and does not need a lot of maintenance costs. The long-term useful equipment has a membrane cleaning system and a barrier Scale system.
